Confident Hands: a Presentation on Sculpting Hands in Blender
If you're looking to get better at sculpting hands in Blender, you'll get a lot of value out of this video presentation. I cover my observations of the hand, my method for sculpting and assembling a hand, and I even discuss what confidence really is and my system for developing it.
Purchasing "Confident Hands" gets you my 30+ minute video presentation and 13 sculpting demonstration videos I recorded to show my process.
I was getting tired of having to relearn the hand every time I'd go to sculpt a character, and I realized I simply had no confidence sculpting hands. So I carried out a bunch of experiments and did a bunch of studies, all in the sake of developing a deeper confidence with sculpting hands.
Confidence isn't something you acquire by puffing out your chest and declaring you have, and in this presentation I show you the steps I took to develop actual confidence when it comes to sculpting hands.
My setup for this process is simple: I used Blender v4.2.2, but the basic tools I used are available in a lot of Blender versions, and I used a mouse and keyboard, but you can get value out of my process even if you use a digital drawing tablet such as a Wacom. In "Confident Hands," I also explain the sculpting tools in Blender I rely on.
See you on the other side.
Yours truly,
-- Joe
